TRIBÙ與加拿大雙人搭檔Yabu Pushelberg合作，推出了ELIO，這是一款外型包覆Macramé 繩結編織的蛋形椅，重新詮釋了經典的戶外編織。Yabu Pushelberg的設計靈感來自於光源停留在風景和物體上的反射與折射。這概念賦予了該系列的名稱：ELIO ( 源自希臘太陽神‘Helios’)。

29/07/2020 - TRIBÙ, in collaboration with Yabu Pushelberg, introduces Elio, a cocoon seat with an enveloping shape that reinterprets the classic outdoor weave. The project of the Canadian duo drew inspiration from the motion of light reflecting and refracting on landscapes and objects. The concept lends its name to the collection: Elio derives from the Greek sun god ‘Helios’.




ELIO椅採用Tricord®繩（聚酯纖維和聚烯烴纖維的組合）進行裝飾，這是TRIBÙ獨家生產的特殊材料。 George Yabu說：“一開始，我們努力解決要如何使用這種材料讓家具變得輕盈又通風，但隨著我們對其進行越來越多的研究，我們終於找到了立足點。”

“我們試著扭轉和折彎材料，以了解其功能。在不斷地來回編織Tricord中，直到最後，我們創造了Macramé 繩結編織效果。這種獨特的技術也成為了ELIO的標誌。”

ELIO seat is upholstered with Tricord® rope, a combination of polyester and polyolefin fibers, distinctive material of the TRIBÙ production. 'At first, we grappled with how to make a collection feel light and airy using this material but as we fiddled with it more and more, we found our footing.', says George Yabu. 'We began to twist and bend the material to get a sense of its capabilities. One thing led to another and we began to weave the Tricord back and forth until, unknowingly, we created a macramé effect. This unique technique became the language of Elio'.

手工編織的座椅向上和向內延展，形成略帶圓形的輪廓，可於蛋形單椅、主人椅、高背休閒椅以及2人座沙發上找到適當的表現手法。

The handwoven seats draw upward and inward, creating a slightly rounded silhouette which finds adequate expression in a cocooning armchair, an easy chair, a high-back lounge chair with a deep seat and back-rest cushion and a 2-seater sofa.

編織的Tricord有三種細微的自然色調：柔和的綠色青苔，沙色的亞麻布和炭灰色的鐵刀木。每種色調都是由多種顏色交織而成，這賦予了Tricord獨特的效果。溫暖的天然柚木後腳支撐了座椅的柔軟曲線。

The woven Tricord comes in three subtle, natural shades: soft green moss, sandy toned linen and charcoal-gray wengé. Each shade is created by weaving together multiple colors, which gives Tricord its unique effect. The warmth of natural teak supports the soft curves of the seat through the back legs.
